National AHEC Week in Indiana celebrates


On March 25, 2008, 108
attendees celebrated National AHEC Week at the inaugural Indiana
AHEC Program Annual Meeting. In addition to a keynote
presentation from Richard Merchant, CEO of the North New York
AHEC, attendees discussed project posters with Indiana high
school and health professions students, learned about
community-based health professions training from regional AHEC
staff, and celebrated the contributions of five “Partnership
Matters” award winners and our first “AHEC Hero.”
