National Speaker Addresses Civility in Nursing Education in Hammond,
Indy, August 15-16, 2007
National
League of Nursing 2006 featured presenter and Montana State
University nursing faculty Susan Luparell, PhD, APRN, BC, will
deliver an Indiana two-city "tour" with her workshop, "Dealing
with Difficult Student Situations," on August 15, 2007 in
Hammond, and on August 16, 2007 in Indianapolis. Designed for
academic and community clinical nursing faculty and applicable
to faculty teaching in virtually any health professions
discipline, the workshop will identify and discuss key
strategies for addressing and preventing student incivility in
nursing education environments.

Indiana AHEC Program, Indiana University School of Nursing, and

The August 15, 2007 full-day
workshop is sponsored by Northwest Indiana AHEC and Nursing2000
North Central. The workshop will be held at The Centre at Purdue
