The Indiana Area Health Education
Centers Program seeks to offer helpful health career information, job
shadowing placements, health and science enrichment programs and other
assistance to students throughout Indiana from its Indianapolis-based
Program Office and at its regional Area Health Education Centers (AHECs).
The Indiana AHEC Program has regional AHECs in Bedford, Gary, and Terre
Haute -- and plans to open new AHECs in Fort Wayne in the Fall of 2005 and
in Metropolitan Indianapolis/Central Indiana in the Fall of 2006.
